  • You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don't have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non- emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. Frequently Asked Questions

Still have questions? Take a look at the FAQ or reach out anytime. If you’re feeling ready, go ahead and apply.

  • Absolutely. Many people come to therapy feeling unsettled, disconnected, or unsure of what’s wrong. Megan helps individuals slow down, identify patterns, and build practical strategies for emotional clarity, stability, and forward movement.

  • Megan’s approach is structured, grounded, and collaborative. She integrates cognitive and behavioral strategies with somatic awareness to help individuals understand how thoughts, emotions, and physical stress responses interact in daily life. The focus is on creating real change, not just insight.

  • Megan offers both in-person therapy and virtual therapy for individuals who want support with life transitions, emotional wellness, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and patterns that may be interfering with personal growth.

  • Megan is an in-network provider for CareSource and an out-of-network provider for all other private insurance plans. If you have out-of-network benefits, you may be eligible for reimbursement for a portion of your therapy sessions.

Monthly statements for out-of-network claim reimbursement are available by request.

  • While Megan is not in-network with all insurance panels, many insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits that may reimburse you for a portion of your therapy sessions. This means your insurance could help cover the cost of therapy, even if she is not directly contracted with your plan.

To make the process simple, Megan uses Thrizer to help check your out-of-network benefits before you begin.

You will know exactly what your estimated cost per session would be upfront, so there are no surprises.

If your plan includes out-of-network coverage, you may only be responsible for a copay or reduced fee rather than the full session rate.

  • Payment is accepted through credit card, debit card, cash, check, HSA, and FSA accounts. Thrizer is also available to help clients use out-of-network benefits when applicable.
