Please Welcome Caleb Brown
Our newest intern brings discipline from the field, curiosity from the classroom, and a strengths-based lens to everything in between.
We are glad to welcome Caleb Brown to The Thinking Feeling Center this semester as our newest intern.
Caleb earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology and spent his college years as a student-athlete, an experience that helped him build discipline, teamwork, leadership, perseverance, and resilience. These qualities continue to guide him in his academic and professional development.
He is now pursuing his Master of Social Work at Indiana University Indianapolis.
This semester with us is his practicum, the part of his program where classroom learning is applied and integrated through supervised, hands-on experience. He is supported by a field instructor here at the practice and by a seminar back at school, where he reflects on what he is learning and continues to grow as a future clinician.
Caleb brings a holistic, strengths-based approach to his work, meaning he looks first at what a person already has going for them, then builds from there.
What This Means for Our Clients and Our Team
Caleb will be spending this semester observing and learning about the day-to-day work of the practice, gaining exposure to how our team supports clients and how the field of clinical social work operates. He brings genuine curiosity about mental wellness, empowerment, and the kind of change that lasts.
If you see a new face around our corner of the helping world this semester, that is Caleb. Please feel free to say hello and welcome him to the team.
Welcome, Caleb. We are glad you are here.
The Thinking Feeling Center is the clinical practice arm of Mezzo Solutions, led by Megan Ripberger, MSW, LCSW, LISW.
